My deckring was fast turning into aluminium oxide so I decided to replace it. The only available off the shelf option that I could find was the Selden deck ring. It was expensive but it is bombproof and it will still be on the boat when I am long gone. I chose the size two option and it fitted perfectly in the deck with very little work required to set it in place. The internal dimensions of the ring as described in the catalogue are 214mm * 154mm. The external dimension i.e. the hole size required in the deck is 235mm * 180mm. If you require any further dimensions or info I will be glad to help.

Thanks so much for the info, I'm in the USA and it takes 3 months to get one and I'm still waiting but I ordered the size 2. I wasn't positive it would fit but now I can relax. Are you adding any of the deck hard ware for the halyards? I plan on adding turning blocks and runing the turn buckles below deck. I'll take some pictures and post them.

I think I'll have to replace my deck ring in the near future and I'd appreciate a few photos of your Selden deck ring installation. If you have trouble uploading them here, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks and Happy New Year.
